By accepting an estimate, scheduling service, or allowing our technicians to commence work, the customer ("Customer") agrees to the following terms and conditions provided by Valle Plumbing Services LLC ("Company").
Diagnostic Fees: A standard diagnostic fee applies to all troubleshooting and inspection visits. This fee compensates for the technician's time, travel, and expertise and is due upon completion of the diagnosis, regardless of whether the customer chooses to proceed with the recommended repairs.
Estimates: Written estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Prices are subject to change after this period due to fluctuations in material costs.
Approvals: No repairs, installations, or alterations will be performed without the explicit upfront approval (written or verbal) of the estimate by the Customer.
The Customer agrees to provide clear, safe, and unobstructed access to the immediate work area, plumbing fixtures, main water shut-off valves, gas meters, and electrical panels.
The Company is not responsible for moving heavy furniture, appliances, or personal belongings to access the plumbing system. If the technician must clear the area, additional labor charges may apply.
Hidden Deficiencies: Estimates are based on a visual inspection of accessible areas. The Company is not liable for pre-existing conditions, hidden damage, or code violations discovered once walls are opened or work commences (e.g., structural rot, mold, illegal wiring, or improper pipe pitch).
Fragile & Deteriorated Materials: Working on older plumbing systems carries an inherent risk. The Company is not liable for the unavoidable breakage of severely aged, rotted, or brittle materials during the normal course of repair. This includes, but is not limited to, crumbling cast iron or Orangeburg sewer lines, thin brass P-traps, brittle plastic tubular fittings, or seized shut-off valves.
Change Orders: Any pre-existing deficiencies that must be corrected to meet current local plumbing and building codes, or to ensure safe operation, will be brought to the Customer's immediate attention and quoted as a separate change order.
No Warranty on Drains: All drain cleaning, cabling, and sewer clearing services are strictly an attempt to cable and clear the line. Because cabling only punches a hole through a blockage to restore temporary flow and does not resolve underlying pipe defects (such as root intrusions, grease buildup, or pipe collapses), the Company does not offer any warranty, guarantee, or callback period for drain clearing or cabling.
Equipment Traps: The Company is not liable for cabling equipment that becomes stuck or damaged due to the pre-existing structural failure of the pipe. If a cable becomes trapped due to a broken line, the cost of excavation and pipe repair to retrieve the equipment will be the sole responsibility of the Customer.
Workmanship Guarantee: Unless otherwise stated in writing (such as the 3-year labor warranty on Navien tankless installations), Valle Plumbing Services LLC provides a 1-Year Workmanship Guarantee on the labor for new installations and major repairs.
Manufacturer Parts: Equipment and materials are covered solely by their respective manufacturer's warranties (e.g., 15 years for heat exchangers, 5 years for internal parts, etc.). The Company will assist with warranty claims, but standard labor rates may apply for the replacement of defective warranty parts after the Valle Plumbing labor warranty period expires.
Exclusions: Warranties are immediately voided if the system is tampered with by the Customer or a third party, damaged by natural disasters/freezing, or if the system fails due to a lack of required routine maintenance (such as annual tankless descaling). We do not warranty customer-supplied parts or fixtures.
Payment is due in full immediately upon the completion of the project, testing, and commissioning of the system, unless alternate financing or payment arrangements have been agreed upon in writing prior to the start of the job.
The Company reserves the right to charge late fees or interest on past-due balances. The Customer agrees to cover any legal or collection fees incurred by the Company in the pursuit of unpaid invoices.
Concealed Utilities: The Company is not responsible for damage to unmarked or improperly installed underground or concealed utilities (e.g., irrigation lines, invisible dog fences, low-voltage wiring) during excavation or wall penetrations.
Water Damage: The Company is not liable for water damage or restoration costs resulting from pre-existing leaks, failed customer-supplied fixtures, or delays in shutting off the main water supply prior to the technician's arrival.
The Customer grants Valle Plumbing Services LLC the right to take before, during, and after photographs or videos of the plumbing system and immediate work area for documentation, training, and promotional purposes. No identifying personal information or faces will be used in marketing materials without separate consent.
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York.
By authorizing work to proceed, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to the Valle Plumbing Services LLC Terms and Conditions outlined above.
